From Plaza de Cataluña you can stroll along the legendary Ramblas to the port. A walk along this emblematic tree-lined boulevard is an absolute must in Barcelona. Note the Joan Miró mosaic and the Font de Canaletes, (or Canaletas = Fountain in Spanish), a fountain that serves as a meeting point.
Plaza de España
At the foot of the Magic Fountain of Montjuic, with its funicular railway and magnificent views over the harbour, you will find the Plaza de España, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. It is one of Barcelona's main intersections and was built for the Barcelona International Exhibition (1929). Don't miss the Venetian towers that guard the entrance to the Fira de Barcelona, the exhibition grounds.
